New office

We moved into a new office yesterday (house basement). We outgrew the room we were working out of. So now we have walls to post notes on, a few filing cabinets, and tons of storage for our beverages!

We've been contacting distributors this week. They are all super busy preparing for July 4th, so we have to wait another week and a half to actually speak with them. This is fine though because we need to start ordering our ingredients this week...mmmm :)

Our new goal is to have our first production run in 4 weeks, and to be on sale online and on shelves in 5-6 weeks!

wish us luck

and so begins another week

Last week was a bit intense. We shopped Vital Energy around to 3 distributors in the Rochester area and are waiting to hear back/contacting a few of them this coming week. We left some literature on Vital Energy and a sample beverage at all of them.

We also had some important meetings about investment, which hopefully leads us to more meetings this week! One cool meeting we had was with the producer of the movie 'Sophomore' being shot in Rochester (http://www.sophomoremovie.com/ it has the guy who plays Joe Swanson on Family Guy and the woman who holds up the restaurant in Pulp Fiction in it). He was really interesting and had a lot of great advice and contacts.

This week we'll be calling up investors, magazines, and local organizations to get the word out about Enertia Beverage. And hopefully we secure a distributor before we make our first order...or at least get a 'no' from each distributor so we can implement plan B.

On a non company related note, my sister came into town this weekend for fathers day! I introduced her to my new lady friend, and we played some Frisbee :) which was sweet.

Also, the Vital Energy RX7 sprung an oil leak...so that has to be fixed this coming Saturday. Here's a pick of the awesome mess I need to fix.

Peace

... uh oh Leaky Turbo ...

The Vital Energy RX7 - Hoping to get this labeled eventually
(imagine Vital Energy in White letters on that
with our orange label splashed diagonally...could be cool)

few days of rest

Jake came back Wednesday this week, and is now off to Seattle for a day. When he gets back on Saturday, we've got a lot to do.

The next couple of weeks are entirely devoted to new investments and distribution meetings. We're going to be working our butts off contacting several distributors and hoping to land a meeting with as many as we can.

Then we'll be making our first production run soon after!

We're also implementing a new concept. Instead of our faces and bottle personality ideas you've read about recently, we'd like to make our label an artistic canvas.

We'll be creating new labels each production run, and having different artists design each one, should be fun!

Peace out
-Mike

Oh I officially got my masters today from the University of Michigan. But starting a beverage company is WAY more fun than engineering!
